I am a hobby writer who lives in the wooded uplands of Southwest Wisconsin’s Driftless Region.
Throughout life hiking and writing have been some of my favorite past-times. In 2018 Facebook friends wanted to share my poetry with their followers. So, they encouraged me to start a public Facebook page dedicated to my forest images and poetry. As of this writing, the Woodland Spaces Facebook page has over 27,000 followers.
Most often I am inspired by nature. And because the vast forested hills and valleys of SW Wisconsin are my home stomping grounds, it is the trees which so often call to me.
However, I also enjoy other forms of writing. If I am not writing poetry about my beloved woodlands, I am usually writing some form of fantasy. This blog will contain a mix of writing, but much of it will focus on fantasy pieces as they are not appropriate material for the Woodland Spaces Facebook page.
