Hello Everyone:
In addition to being a hobby writer, I am also a Nana and my grandchildren are still pretty young. They are all still able to enter the world of make-believe and magic. And very often I enter the world of fantasy and magic, dragons and elves and dwarfs within the books we all read together.
Since I enjoy writing and since I've enjoyed fantasy since reading the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings in high-school, I decided to write some fantasy for my grandchildren.
You are invited to join me on a journey into a different kind of magical world than TV and movies often portray. As my story unfolds, I hope to explore all kinds of human and spiritual concepts.
For instance, Near-death experiences are spiritual experiences which have much to teach humanity. In my story, I hope to explore these kinds of experiences through healers and those they have brought back to this life. I also hope to explore how these types of experiences change a story character's journey and how these experiences can even change communities.
But - first it is important to create and build the world within which these stories take place. Even in doing this, I am trying to bring in spiritual concepts I have learned in life and in following NDE stories and research.
Please - as you read the story drafts I hope to post in this blog - do feel free to provide me with feedback. I am a hobby writer and I don't have an editing or publishing team to advise me. So... your thoughts and contributions do matter. :)
This is a hobby and it may take me several months to fully flesh out this fantasy world and story. The story is in my heart though - so that is a place to start.
